Iain Glen Biography

Iain Glen is a Scottish actor. He was born on June 24, 1961 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He is the younger brother of director, Hamish Glen. He studied at Edinburgh Academy and took acting training at the RADA in London where he also won a Bancroft Gold Medal. He started his professional acting career in 1986 when he made his acting debut in the TV series Taggart. He made his first film acting debut in 1988 when she played the role of Brendan in the film Gorillas in the Mist. He is best known for his performances in the Resident Evil films and for playing the role of Ser Jorah Mormont on Game of Thrones. From 1993 to 2004 he was married to Susannah Harker and they have a son together named, Finlay. Since 2005 he is in relationship with actress Charlotte Emmerson and they have a two daughter together.
