Simon Pegg Biography

Simon John Pegg famous as Simon Pegg is an English actor, comedian, screenwriter and film producer and director. He was born on February 14, 1970 in  Brockworth, United Kingdom to Gillian Rosemary and John Henry Beckingham. His mother is a former civil servent and his father is a jazz musician and keyboard salesman. His parents were divorced when he was at the age of seven. His mother remarried and took the surname of his stepfather. He attended various schools including Castle Hill Primary School, Brockworth Comprehensive Secondary School and The King’s School, Gloucester. He graduated in 1991 from the University of Bristol. He started his professional acting career in 1995 when he made his acting debut in the television series Six Pairs of Pants. He made his film acting debut in 1999 in the film Tube Tales. He is best known for his performances in the films: Shaun of the Dead in 2004, Hot Fuzz in 2007 and The World’s End in 2013. He married his long-time girlfriend Maureen McCann on July 23, 2005 and they have a child, Matilda together.
