Stephen Dillane Biography

Stephen J. Dillane famous as Stephen Dillane is an English actor. He was born on November 30, 1956 in Kensington, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, United Kingdom to Dr John Dillane and Bridget. He has a younger brother, Richard who is also an actor. He studied history and political science at the University of Exeter and later attended the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His acting career was started in 1985 when he made his acting debut in the TV series Remington Steele. He made his first film acting debut in 1990 in the film Hamlet. He is best known for playing the roles of Leonard Woolf in The Hours, Glen Foy in Goal! and Stannis Baratheon in Game of Thrones. He is in relationship with actress Naomi Wirthner and they have two sons together, Frank Dillane and Seamus Dillane who are also actors.
